What Is the Workflow Builder?
The Workflow Builder is the core automation engine of AI Chat Assist. It lets you design structured, intelligent conversations that react to user intent, collect data, and trigger business actions automatically. A workflow is more than a simple script—it is a decision system that determines how each user moves through your experience.
How a Workflow Is Triggered
1. Intent Detection
- The system analyzes the user’s message
- Matches it against defined keywords or phrases
- Starts the relevant workflow automatically
Example
User types: “What is your pricing?”
Pricing intent is detected and the Pricing workflow launches immediately.
2. Immediate Start
- Workflow starts as soon as the chat opens—no intent detection required
- Common for greeting flows, lead capture forms, and onboarding journeys
3. Programmatic / Campaign Trigger
- Workflows can be triggered from WhatsApp or drip campaigns
- External apps can start workflows via API calls
