Connect your Instagram Business account to manage direct messages and comments from your customers in one unified inbox.
Prerequisites
- An Instagram Business or Creator account
- A linked Facebook Page
- Admin access to the Facebook Page
- A Facebook Business Manager account
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Connect Instagram Account
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Instagram
- Click Connect Instagram
- Select the Facebook Page connected to your Instagram account
- Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions
- Grant the necessary permissions
Step 2: Configure Settings
After connecting, configure your Instagram settings:
- Auto-Reply: Set up automated responses for when you’re not available
- Message Tags: Configure tags to organize conversations
- Comment Moderation: Set up rules for comment filtering
Step 3: Test the Integration
- Send a test message to your Instagram Business account
- Verify that the message appears in your AI Chat Assist dashboard
- Respond to the message to ensure replies are delivered
