Handling Invalid Numbers
This section helps you manage and retry messages that couldn’t be delivered due to invalid or inactive WhatsApp numbers.
What Are Invalid Numbers?
Invalid numbers include:
- Non-existent phone numbers
- Numbers not registered with WhatsApp
- Temporarily unavailable numbers
- Numbers that have blocked your business
Viewing Invalid Numbers
- Navigate to WhatsApp Drip Campaigns > Analytics
- Select Invalid Numbers from the sidebar
- The system displays:
- List of invalid numbers
- Reason for invalidity
- Number of delivery attempts
- Timestamp of last attempt
Retry Options
Automatic Retry
- System automatically retries failed deliveries
- Configurable retry intervals (default: 1 hour)
- Maximum retry attempts can be set
Manual Retry
- Select the numbers you want to retry
- Click Retry Selected
- Choose immediate or scheduled retry
Best Practices
- Regularly clean your contact list
- Verify numbers before adding to campaigns
- Monitor invalid number rates for potential issues
- Update numbers that have been corrected
Common Issues and Solutions
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Number not on WhatsApp | Recipient doesn’t have WhatsApp | Remove or update the number |
| Invalid number format | Incorrect country code or format | Verify and correct the number format |
| Temporary failure | Network issues | System will automatically retry |
| Blocked number | Recipient has blocked your business | Respect user preferences, do not retry |

Export invalid numbers to:
- CSV
- Excel
- Your CRM (if integrated)
