Connection Setup Process

Step 1: Access Meta Integration Settings

  1. Log in to your AI Chat Assist dashboard
  2. Navigate to AI Campaigns Manager > Meta Integration
  3. Click “Connect Facebook”

Step 2: Authorize Meta Business Assets

You’ll be redirected to Meta to authorize access to your business assets:

  1. Log in to your Meta account (if not already logged in)
  2. Select the Business Manager account you want to connect
  3. Choose which assets to connect:
    • Ad Account(s)
    • Facebook Page(s)
    • Instagram Account(s)
    • Pixel(s)
  4. Review and grant the requested permissions

You must have Admin or appropriate access level to the Meta Business assets you’re trying to connect.

Step 3: Configure Connection Settings

Once connected, configure your integration settings:

  1. Default Ad Account: Select which ad account to use by default
  2. Default Facebook Page: Choose your primary Facebook page
  3. Pixel Configuration: Set up event tracking between your chatbot and Meta Pixel
  4. Conversion API: Enable server-side event tracking for more accurate data

Step 4: Verify Connection

To ensure your connection is working properly:

  1. Go to the Connection Status tab
  2. Check that all services show “Connected” status
  3. Run the automated connection test
  4. Review any warnings or recommendations

Creating Custom Audiences

Leverage chatbot data to create powerful custom audiences:

  1. Go to Audiences > Create New
  2. Select “Chatbot Data Source”
  3. Choose from audience templates:

    • Users with high purchase intent
    • Users who abandoned conversations
    • Custom segment based on tags or attributes
  4. Set audience refresh frequency
  5. Name and save your audience

These audiences will automatically sync with your Meta Ad Account for use in campaigns.

  • Update your privacy policy to reflect data sharing with Meta
